What is SSI?
SSI, which stands for Scuba Schools International, was founded in 1970 by Bob Clark in the state of Colorado, USA. Since June 1, 2010, it has been an internationally accredited diving system certified by ISO, a global quality assurance organization. SSI holds a total of seven ISO certifications—five for diver training programs and two for instructor training programs.
SSI has a regional office in Turkey and operates in 115 countries through its global network of regional offices. Notably, four of SSI’s training programs are recognized for university credit in academic institutions.
